Description:
A white or yellowish crystals or crystalline powder. One gram is soluble in 2 ml of water.

Applications:
Antioxidant, meat curing aid, nutrient, dietary supplement. Permitted as a Class I preservative for same products as ascorbic acid. Preservative for meats and in pumping pickle. Used in applications where neutral pH and/or a less acidic taste are important. Widely used in nutritional products.
